Bernard Berrian, a former wide receiver for the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, says he caught a former college teammate red-handed stealing from his home.
After Berrian’s home was broken into two times in the past few weeks, he installed a security camera that would alert him when someone entered. Just days later, Berrian was at a barbecue with his longtime friend and college teammate Therrian Fontenot. Fontenot left the party early, and a short while later Berrian’s phone buzzed to alert him that the security system was going off.
“I actually watched him doing it while he was doing it,” said Berrian. “I could have actually spoke to him, I got a microphone on there. I could have told him, I got you, while he was doing it.”
